D’Arthy Gráfica adopts sustainable initiatives throughout its production flows, a guarantee to clients and to all society that the prints produced in its printing park are environmentally correct.
D’Arthy stands out as one of the first printing companies in Brazil to obtain the world’s most widely recognized paper chain of custody certification, FSC® – Forest Stewardship Council®. The seal FSC® certifies that the paper used for the production of printed matter is extracted from well-managed, socially just and economically viable forests.
It won the Neutralize Carbono certified by neutralization of greenhouse gas emissions from its production process. This initiative marks the commitment of D’Arthy to the challenge of fighting and preventing climate change in order to promote the continuous reduction of its greenhouse gas emissions (GEE).

Our Social and Environmental Initiatives
Aware of the relevant of its changing role, D’Arthy Gráfica develops initiatives that add to social inclusion, volunteering, preservation of the environment and improvement of the quality of life of the community, as well as demonstrating to its stakeholders its commitment to society.
Neutralization of Greenhouse Gas Emissions
It is one of the first printing companies to carry out the neutralization of greenhouse gas emissions from its production flows, recognized by this initiative with the Neutralize Carbono certificate.
Youth Apprentice Program
D’Arthy Gráfica promotes, annually, in partnership with SENAI, the Youth Apprentice program, generating job opportunities for young people, in accordance with Labor Law 10.097 / 2000.
To participate, young people must have completed elementary education and be between 14 and 24 years of age. D’Arthy professionals can also enroll their children, who are indicated by the company to participate in a selection process in SENAI. Approved candidates can be hired by D’Arthy according to the vacancies available in the company, or they can carry out integral activities in SENAI.
Since its first initiative in 2014, D’Arthy has been contributing through the Youth Apprentice to the integration of dozens of young people into the labor market, encouraging learning, generating opportunities for development and improvement of the quality of life, as well as contributing to a better future of the new generations.
Support to Nosso Lar Casas André Luiz
D’Arthy Gráfica supports Nosso Lar Casas André Luiz, a philanthropic institution dedicated to the care of people with mental disabilities, with or without associated physical disability. For this initiative, D’Arthy received the Empresa Iluminada seal, which recognizes its assistance in maintaining care of the entity and the patients quality of life.
With units located in the city of Guarulhos, in São Paulo, Nosso Lar Casas André Luiz was founded in 1949, when it began its activities serving 15 young people. Today, the institution carries out approximately 195 thousand free medical and therapeutic services per year in all specialties. The expansion of their activities, and consequently of young people assisted, was only possible due to the voluntary support provided by companies and the community.
Control of Greenhouse Gas Emissions
D’Arthy Gráfica controls the emission of GHGs emitted in its production, in order to ensure that its emissions comply with legal standards.
Hiring Environmentally Responsible Suppliers
At the time of hiring suppliers, D’Arthy Gráfica gives preference to companies that are economically viable and environmentally responsible, that act within the legislation and with less impact to the environment, in the short and medium term.
Adoption of Ecologically Correct Inputs
D’Arthy Gráfica adopts in its productive flow ecologically correct inputs, such as the FSC® certified paper that guarantees its controlled origin. Besides, other inputs such as paint, plates and blankets follow a careful analysis of environmental, economic and social viability.
Integrated Industrial Waste Management System:
D’Arthy Gráfica has an integrated system of industrial waste management, where it performs the appropriate treatment of all liquid and solid waste from its printing park, aiming at reducing the impact of its activities on nature.
• o Treatment and Disposal of Solid and Liquid Waste
All the liquid and solid waste from D’Arthy’s printing park are treated and prepared for the collection of specialized companies, which carry out the correct disposal.
• o Effluent Treatment System
D’Arthy performs the treatment of the effluents generated in its printing park through an effluent treatment plant, according to the requirements of the legislation.
• o Wastepaper System:
In the wastepaper system, all paper waste coming from the production stream is compacted and then sent to the specialized recycling company.
